A little while ago I photographed a reception at Kelly's.  Historic home of Pan Am airlines.  Great margaritas and coconut shrimp...here are a few images from the reception upstairs in the Tree-Top Deck.  A most delicious evening:

Congratulations to Steve and Shana!

It's been a little while since I've had the privilege to play on the beach with just the bride and groom - no wedding party - no guests - just us and the birds...oh yeah, and the guy readying the beach for the day on the big tractor.  Lucky for me, Steve and Shana decided to elope, kind of, to Key West and have a simple wedding ceremony on the beach. 

The morning started out a little overcast (perfect for portraits) and gradually the sun came out (perfect for landscapes). 

Perfect plan.  Amazing morning.  Beautiful couple.

4th of July

Every year in Key West the VNA (Visiting Nurses Association) hosts a family 4th of July celebration at the Casa Marina Hotel.  Many, many local volunteers come together to make the event amazing. 

This year was no exception. 

I missed the fireworks this year, but caught these 2 images.  And, yes, the flag is as tall as the palm trees.  Enjoy:-)
