Gary works at the MARC Plant Store and is a member of the Key West Orchid club. 

His home gardens are simply amazing.  Beautiful.  Enjoy!

Fall is really a great time of the year.

Fall is full of eye candy.  The air is warm with a little crispness.  The sun is friendly, not scorching.  There are farmer's markets full of beautiful produce.  Pumpkins.  Mums. 

I'm hanging in Indiana for a couple of weeks, and here are a couple fall visions...

Buckingham Fountain

I always love the sight of Buckingham Fountain in full water works display when I drive into the city...

Oh you just never know what you will find in Key West - this amazing wall/building is a restored gymnasium in the Bahama Village area.  Beautiful...now I am imagining someone dressed in a white dress...any takers?

Sunset Show at Mile Marker 88

Remember why you wanted to visit Florida?  Sun, beaches, ocean, friends, relaxation...sometimes we forget to enjoy the simple things like a sunset.  I was so blown away by this sunset last week.  I actually had the time (and patience) to sit in one place and enjoy being.  Here is my reward.  The most amazing sunset that wouldn't stop.  (The images are pretty much not retouched and all are from the same sunset location.)

Wine is d'vine at The Gardens Hotel

For those of who that know me - you know I like wine.  Well, there is something very new to buzz about at The Gardens Hotel.  Kate Miano, the owner, has just installed the coolest, state-of-the-art wine bar - open to the public.  I got to 'test it out' at the weekly Sunday Jazz jam in the Garden.

Kate will demonstrate:

1.  buy a wine card

2.  select your wine (there are sooooo many....)

3.  choose a taste, 1/2 glass or full

4.  enjoy!

then we had a little go...I think we had fun, don't you?  Cheers!
