Enjoy a few pages from Thomas and Jill's wedding at Sunset Key. It was a picture perfect day for the two lovebirds who decided to have a quiet, private ceremony on the island. But, this didn't mean that they weren't going to also have a lot of fun. Thomas & Jill - you guys rock! Cheers!
Spring is in the air. Wedding plans are being finalized. Dresses fitted. Diets started ;-) And here is one of my favorite locations in Key West, the Westin Hotel and Resort. Recently, I had an April bride ask about the hotel and it's layout. Being on the waterfront, there is no beach, but the Westin has managed to cultivate a beautiful 'green area' between the two main buildings. In addition, right next to the parking garage --it doesn't sound tropical, but wait...is the entrance to Truman Annex via a beautiful brick and wrought iron gate. There's even a neat water fountain and plenty of green. So here are a few images from these little gem areas at the Westin:
We received this, um...gift, when we moved into our new home a couple of years ago. It was a tradition that was shared with us by my husband's assistant coach. The 'Welcome Beaver' is passed from new home owner to new home owner. I'm actually quite fond of it/him now. But I am hoping a good friend will soon by a house. (please ;-o )
